In 1983, Earth, Wind & Fire recorded a song, “Dance Dance Dance” for Canadian-based Nelvana’s animated feature film ’Rock & Rule.’ A soundtrack for the film was never released but in 2012, Maurice’s Kalimba Music label released the single.

Other artists that recorded songs for the film included Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Debbie Harry, and Cheap Trick.
