Earth, Wind & Fire’s “See The Light” From Their 1975 Album That’s The Way Of The World
From Earth, Wind & Fire’s 1975 album, That’s The Way Of The World, here’s the track, “See The Light.”
Maurice:
Larry Dunn and Philip Bailey had written one of my all-time favorite EW&F songs, “See The Light,” which starts out in the odd time signature of 7/8. Larry showed Verdine how to approach it on bass. Al McKay was an absolute master at setting tempo, guiding the rhythm section perfectly into the groove, and Charles and I were instructing everybody on everything.
